Saturday 13 January 2007 Hucknall Sports U9s White 8 v West Bridgford Giants 0

Sports were at home to the Giants this morning. The game started really well with both teams having several shots at goal and some great defending and attacking play and it looked as though it would be 0-0 at half time until Rose came through with what is turning out to be his trademark, Sports first goal, followed by a stunner from Watts.

The second half saw Sports get off to a great start with an opening goal from Towers, followed by two more great goals from Rose and Towers. Substitutes Kibble and Trueman scored two cracking goals and the final one went to Towers, making this his fourth hat-trick for Sports. Man of the Match went to Watts who not only scored a great goal but covered just about every inch of the field. All credit to the Giants today, they played a great game against an 'on fire' Sports who produced eight top class goals. Well done to both teams.

Tracey Kibble (Hucknall Sports U9s Whites)
