All Registration issues are dealt with by the Notts FA, we advise all teams to deal with Notts FA via your Club Secretary, with any Player Registration enquiries.

A player cannot play in a YEL League or Cup match without a valid 2008/09 Registration card, NO CARD = NO PLAY

We understand Notts County FC are using a number of players in trial matches this weekend, the YEL have no powers with regards this issue, Clubs should discuss any player issues with Mick Leonard of Notts County FC.

A player signed by Notts County FC can only play in the YEL with a signed letter from Notts County giving special permission and is subject to a limited number of games, if in doubt we recommend you do not use the player in the YEL.

If any team needs to cancel a fixture due to a shortage of players (due to missing cards or Notts County trialists) our advice is cancel the match and provide full reasons to the Match Controller. The YEL Committee will then discuss all cancellations at a later date and decide if any fines are liable due to cancellation taking the circumstances into consideration.

Reminder John McNicholas is Saturday Match Controller & Ian Goulding Sunday Match Controller.

ALL fixture issues including cancellations to the Match controller by email please not to the Admin Clerk.

Best of luck to all teams for the new season

Five Star Vernon White U10's Make It An Away Day To Remember

On a Sunday morning made to play football, AFC Vernon White U10's gave an exciting exhibition of fast flowing football in this Sunday Division 1 encounter. From the kick-off the White's took control of the game with some accurate passing which resulted in sustained pressure on the Calverton goal.

FURNISS took a corner which resulted in an own goal, 1-0 to Vernon. Within five minutes of the re-start it was 2-0 with RICHARDS firing the ball into the back of the net. Just before half-time THOMAS got his reward for his hard work with a right foot shot which looped past the 'keeper to make it 3-0. The second half saw Vernon keep the pressure on with HODGE getting on the scoresheet after a terrific run down the right to make it 4-0. Kweku & Duncan both hit the woodwork with Seaton & Heer also going close. When called upon Wheatley's safe pair of hands & the defensive cover provided by Gould & Anderson saw Vernon safe at the back. Pulling the strings in midfield was FURNISS who deservedly made it 5-0. A commanding performance which saw Anderson & Furniss get the joint man of the match award.
