Saturday 2nd December Hucknall Sports U9 White 1 Pegasus Youth Colts 1

This was going to be a tough match and it lived up to expectations. It started fast and furious and remained that way all through the game. The Pegasus keeper was kept busy with shots from Watts, Towers, Rose and

Mc~Shane plus several going just wide, and at the other end of the pitch Clarke was just as busy with several shots from all directions. The end of the first half saw the score at 0-0. The second half started as fast as the first but it wasn't until halfway through the second half that the first goal was scored, and what a belter from Rose. Sports held on until, unfortunately, five minutes from the end, a scramble in the Pegasus goalmouth between their striker, Asher and Ellis couldn't stop the ball from going in. This was a hard fought match and well done to Sports for keeping their heads and battling on

Tracey Kibble (Hucknall Sports U9s Whites)
