Hucknall Sports Whites v Attenborough Colts

Saturday 9th September signalled the start of the season for both Hucknall Sports Whites and Attenborough Colts Under 8's.

In a keenly contested first half both teams held their own and reach half time with the scores level at 0-0. The second half started in a similar vein with both defences playing extremely well and allowing little opportunity for strikers to even have a shot on goal. Ptashko for Colts and Smith for Sports tried bossed the midfield for their teams but finally the deadlock was broken midway through the half. An excellent pass from 'Sports' defence by ‘Hallam’ beat the Colts defence to ‘Bowley’ who slotted the ball into the bottom corner. Colts fought extremely hard for a deserved equaliser but unfortunately time ran out for them and Hucknall Sports recorded the victory.

Final Score
Hucknall Sports Whites 1 v Attenborough Colts 0

Stewart Bowley (Manager Hucknall Sports Whites)
